The long form of the report is generally selected by clients who want maximum information on the applicant and use this information for in depth interviewing, and other areas downstreaming in the section process. The information contained in the long form (as well as in the General Synopsis) can provide suggestions for a question related to that specific areas being discussed. This information may also be incorporated into the client’s own structured interview process. Both the Specific Areas to Explore and the Motivational and Development Considerations add extra dimension to the overall profile presentation.
The CDS Personnel Assessment Profiles have been designed to be an integral part of the overall recruiting and selection process. It is not designed to make hiring decisions. It is not a “pass or fail” assessment.
CDS firmly believes there are too many variables in the selection process for any independent assessment system to be the exclusive choice in the final selection decision.
